It was founded in 2013 as “Li-Con” by Alessandro Ostuni
and Giovanni Gherardi, engineers with deep knowledge
in the research and development product field.

The first headquarters was near the city center of Empoli (Florence, Italy), with a 200 sq m surface.

“Li-Con” is the abbreviation of “Lithium Consulting”: because of its excellent reactive properties and its large use in the electronics sector, lithium represents the core of the company, as the symbol of the union between mechanics and electronics.

Throughout the years, Li-Con becomes a reference for companies for the development of innovative ideas and new products, working in many sectors: household appliances, mosquito nets, technical curtains, automotive, renewable energy.

The highly innovative content of the product developed and the reactivity
to customers requests are the strength of Li-Con, in each sector it operates.

2024

The headquarter is relocated in the industrial area of Empoli, in a 600 sq m surface building.
Here there are the engineering department and the prototypes and test laboratory.

This new headquarter has a solar power plant that supplies the building
and an electric car charging station.

2025

Li-Con becomes Licon S.t.p.r.l., with 20 employees and a turnover of 3 million euros.

Today

Licon works every day following the path traced by its founder Alessandro Ostuni, with passion for the R&D sector, customer focus and human relationships.
